Chat

1. Where is the Chat? I can't find it.

   The Chat application is the white bar that pops up at the bottom of the page.  This is a Members Only feature and you must be signed in to use it.

Facebook Login

1. The Facebook login isn't working.

   The Facebook login application application was beginning to be built when problems arose.  At this time it is under construction and you will not be able to use it.  There is no way to delete the link until this is done and Facebook has been notified of the situation.

    

   The Facebook login for the Arcade games is working and you should have no problems using it.

    

    

Sharing Photos or Other Things on the Site

1. How do I share things of interest on the site with my frends?

   There are several ways to share with your friends.  First of all, log into your account and when the Chat bar pops up on the bottom of the page click on "Share Page" on the left side.  You can choose from sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz, Yahoo or emailing.  Just follow the directions.

    

   You can share the Arcade Games on Twitter and Facebook by clicking the links at the top of the section.

    

   To share photos on Facebook click the LIKE button under the photo or for a larger variety of options click on SHARE and choose the site that you prefer or select email or print as an alternate choice.

    

   If you are using the slideshow provided by CoolIris (recommended 3D viewing) then you can click the envelope on the bottom of the photo.

Privacy and Security

1. Does The Breakroom sell my information to third parties?

   We do not sell any information to third parties.  Your registration and email information are safe. 

    

   Remember that your profile is public however, so don't give out any information that you want to keep private.  Never give your address or phone number or financial information to someone that you meet online.

    

2. Why do I keep getting emails? How can I stop them?

   We will only send out emails to welcome you to the family, inform you of site changes and opportunities or during various holidays.

    

   If you wish to stop receiving correspondence from us simply click on the Opt Out link in the email.

    

    

    

Photos

1. Can I add photos to the Gallery?

   Yes, but you must contact us first to have the photo approved and it must relate to an important news or entertainment event or be a photo we've requested such as you posing with a celebrity.

Blog

1. Can I Submit and Article for the Blog?

   Yes, just contact us for approval.  The submission must be at least 400 words in length and deal with a subject of interest to the majority of our members.  It cannot contain profanity or sexually explicit language and cannot be offensive to any group of people.  We prefer something that is either dedicated to a holiday, an event, a person or that is humorous.

    

   The writing must be original, unpublished and yours.  You agree by that if we decide to use your writing, that it will become the property of The Breakroom to edit or publish as we see fit.
